As an art student at the College of Creative Arts, you'll create thought-provoking work that evokes emotion and inspires action, regardless of your chosen medium - be it performance, digital art, physical objects, photography, painting, printmaking, installations, film, or other innovative forms. In the Bachelor of Fine Arts with Honours (BFA Hons), you'll dedicate most of your time to studio practice, exploring diverse artistic approaches while cultivating your distinctive creative voice. This degree isn't limited to specific media, allowing you to concentrate on contemporary art concepts and produce contextually relevant new works. You'll collaborate with peers across disciplines and academic levels, while technical workshops provide essential practical skills. Mirroring our faculty's versatility, you can experiment with sculpture, painting, drawing, performance art, installations, video, photography, printmaking, site-specific projects, curation, and art criticism. The BFA program challenges you, deepens your understanding of art theory, and fully engages you in creative practice. This degree equips you for any profession demanding innovation, perseverance, analytical skills, solution-oriented thinking, and technical mastery.
