The Bachelor of Commercial Music (Honours) is a one-year program combining coursework with an independent research project. Your studies will involve research-based creative work as you navigate the dynamic music industry landscape. The program centers on crafting an individual project accompanied by a written thesis. You'll utilize Toi Rauwhārangi College of Creative Arts' cutting-edge resources, including top-tier recording studios, technology laboratories, and immersive media equipment. Instruction comes from internationally recognized academics with substantial research and performance experience both in New Zealand and worldwide.
All students must meet university entrance requirements to be admitted to the University.
Specific requirements
To enter the Bachelor of Commercial Music (Honours) you will:
have been awarded or qualified for a Bachelor of Commercial Music, or equivalent, with at least a B grade average over the highest level courses.
You must provide verified copies of all academic transcripts for studies taken at all universities other than Massey University.
