In the Bachelor of Commercial Music program, you'll: develop expertise in your chosen specialization (Music Practice, Music Industry, or Music Technology), expand your knowledge by studying a secondary music discipline, analyze the music business landscape to determine your professional path, and collaborate on live performances, tours, music videos, and creative projects. The program offers three specializations: Music Practice, Music Technology, and Music Industry. Advancements in digital tools and online media have created fresh opportunities for music careers and entrepreneurship. Today's musicians can create scores for visual media and digital content, produce albums, tour professionally, handle artist representation, and build their personal brand. Behind-the-scenes roles include positions in recording and publishing sectors like A&R, marketing, and artist management. The live music industry also presents profitable opportunities in event production, venue operations, and various support positions.
