The Master of Science (Research) program offers an excellent chance to develop advanced research capabilities while investigating a specialized field in science, computer science, or mathematical sciences through a one-year thesis project. You'll learn in a supportive, professional setting with options for either the general Master of Science (Research) or one of seven focused tracks: Applied Conservation, Biomedical Science, Chemistry, Environmental Science, Food Science, Microbiology, or Molecular Genetics. The second year concentrates on your 120-point thesis, helping you master critical analysis while developing specialized research methodology, communication, and evaluation skills. This thesis allows you to deeply explore your chosen subject with guidance from your supervisor.
Our faculty members are dedicated educators focused on student achievement and recognized internationally for their publications. With intentionally limited class sizes, you'll enjoy greater access to instructors. Throughout your science studies, you'll frequently engage in hands-on learning through field excursions and collaborative projects with our extensive network of industry partners.
