The Master of Philosophy program helps you enhance your research skills by concentrating on a specific subject area, guided by AUT's experienced faculty members. This degree can serve as a stepping stone toward doctoral research. AUT's academic advisors are internationally renowned scholars with specialized expertise to support you during your academic journey. Faculty members are prepared to oversee MPhil projects across diverse research areas.
Must have completed one of the following with the equivalent of a B grade average or higher:
An interview may be required for particular research areas.
English Language requirements:
IELTS (Academic) 6.5 overall with all bands 6.0 or higher; or equivalent; TOEFL iBT score of 90; Certificate in English for Academic Study (CertEAS) with A grade; AUT Academic English with B+ grade; CAE minimum overall score of 176; PTE minimum overall score of 58.
