AUT's Bachelor of Construction program is designed to provide students with comprehensive, industry-aligned skills for pursuing careers as construction managers or quantity surveyors in both domestic and international construction sectors. These professions play crucial roles within the industry. The program focuses on developing competencies essential for the construction field, ensuring graduates are fully equipped for their future careers. The degree is expected to receive RICS (Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors) accreditation by late 2024. Students who complete both a Bachelor of Construction major and the Professional Practice minor will qualify for RICS accreditation. Additionally, the degree offers flexibility to take courses from a secondary minor or electives.
