AUT's Bachelor of Construction program is designed to provide students with comprehensive, industry-aligned skills for pursuing careers as construction managers or quantity surveyors in both domestic and international construction sectors. These professions play crucial roles within the industry. The program focuses on developing competencies essential for the construction field, ensuring graduates are fully equipped for their future careers. The degree is expected to receive RICS (Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors) accreditation by late 2024. Students who complete both a Bachelor of Construction major and the Professional Practice minor will qualify for RICS accreditation. Additionally, the degree offers flexibility to take courses from a secondary minor or electives.
The Construction Management specialization within the Bachelor of Construction prepares students for construction management careers. Considering a future as a construction manager? This concentration emphasizes practical site operations management while developing specialized expertise in off-site construction and prefabrication techniques. General Certificate of Education (GCE) with three A-levels including at least one C grade or better. A result in General Studies cannot be included among the 3 on which the application is based.
A minimum of CCC scores (7 points) across the NCUK International Foundation Year (IFY)
Acceptance of the NCUK English for Academic Purposes qualification as an alternative to meeting the English-language requirements, with a minimum of a C grade overall and no less than D grade in each component.
