As the world becomes increasingly interconnected, nations require professionals who grasp global dynamics and can navigate multicultural settings with ease. Cross-cultural proficiency is a sought-after asset in today's international job market.

This flexible major allows you to combine subjects from social sciences, business, cultural studies, education, applied linguistics, or foreign languages. It pairs exceptionally well with STEM disciplines. During your second year, you'll have the opportunity to spend a semester abroad in destinations like the US, Spain, Japan, The Netherlands, Sweden, Korea, or Taiwan.

AUT's Bachelor of Arts offers diverse specializations including languages, international relations, criminology, psychology, event management, and education. Tailor your degree to align with your passions through the Bachelor of Arts program. Gain profound insights into global affairs and your potential impact, while discovering ways to create positive change.

Through examining complex societal challenges, you'll develop into a critical thinker, effective communicator, skilled researcher, and solution-oriented professional. The expertise you acquire, coupled with practical work experience in your final term, will position you for rewarding careers both in New Zealand and internationally.
