This is an ideal first step towards postgraduate study if you have an interest in sustainable practice and you wish to develop higher-level understanding and specialist skills from your undergraduate degree. The programme will equip you with core foundational knowledge about the theories, driving forces and worldviews (including Te Ao Māori) related to sustainable practice. As part of your studies you'll apply your knowledge to specific contexts that will show how interdisciplinary frameworks and research can help address complex sustainability problems. Part-time up to 18 months.
A Bachelor's degree or Graduate Certificate or Diploma in relevant subject areas.
Alternative requirements
If you show that you have equivalent skills for tertiary study gained through study, work and/or life experience, you may be able to gain alternative entry.
Note: The number of courses you have to complete for this qualification may be reduced where you have relevant credits from previous study, or evidence of similar learning or experience in the workplace.
English language requirements:
IELTS Academic score of 6.5 with no band score lower than 6
TOEFL Paper-based test (pBT) - Score of 590 (with an essay score of 5.5 TWE)
TOEFL Internet-based test (iBT) - Score of 79 (with a writing score of 21)
Cambridge English Qualifications - C1 Advanced or C2 Proficiency with a score of 176. No less than 169 in each skill
Pearson Test of English (Academic) - PTE (Academic) score of 58 with no band score lower than 50
