The MSc Business (International Management) at the University of Nottingham Malaysia (UNM) offers a transformative learning experience, providing students from diverse disciplines with advanced knowledge and practical skills in business and international management. This one-year, full-time programme is designed to prepare students for leadership roles in the global business landscape.
Accredited by the EFMD Quality Improvement System (EQUIS), Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB) and Association of MBAs (AMBA), the programme combines core modules in finance, business analytics, and global human resource management with specialised studies in international business strategy and innovation. The modular structure allows students to tailor their learning through electives and a final project, choosing between an academic dissertation or a business-focused project.
Students gain expertise in global market dynamics, strategic decision-making, and business analytics, while exploring ethics, sustainability, and corporate social responsibility. Practical learning through group projects, case studies, and interactive sessions ensures graduates are equipped to address real-world challenges.
One year full-time programme comprising of six compulsory modules in Semester 1 and 2. In Semester 3 students complete a dissertation or business project (with presentation). Teaching comprises lectures, some small group teaching lab work and seminars.
A relevant second-class honours degree (2:2), or a relevant professional qualification deemed equivalent to a first degree with honours, preferably in business studies or management. Non-UK qualifications will be assessed against this standard.
Applicants without a degree in business studies or management must demonstrate that they have completed equivalent modules in the relevant discipline.
