The Professional Master of Education (PME) is a full-time, two-year program that prepares graduates for secondary-level teaching. Upon completion, you'll earn a Level 9 degree, qualifying you to teach in various environments such as secondary schools, further education institutions, and community settings. UL's PME offers multiple subject specializations, including Business, Languages, Mathematics, Music, Physical Education, Science, and Technological Education. Students with sufficient Level 8 credits can pursue two different pathways. The PME spans four semesters, with on-campus attendance required for Semesters 1 and 4. Semesters 2 and 3 involve off-campus online learning and School Placement, which UL arranges for students. Recognized among the Top 100 worldwide in the QS Global Rankings, UL's School of Education is committed to delivering exceptional learning and teaching standards.
