This program enables you to explore diverse subjects focused on a human-centered approach to computing technologies before selecting a specialized course. Designed as a pathway, it offers greater flexibility if you're uncertain about your preferred study area. LM122 Creative Media and Interaction Design serves as a springboard from Semester 2 (Year 1) to either a B.Sc. in Music Media and Performance Technology or a B.Sc. in Digital Media Design. The Music, Media & Performance Technology degree cultivates the technical and creative competencies essential for thriving in music, video, and media sectors. Its objective is to prepare students to meaningfully contribute to the ongoing evolution of media arts, media industries, and other fields utilizing digital media for creative purposes. The Digital Media Design degree fosters the technical, creative, and analytical abilities necessary for success in both Irish and international digital media industries.

Applicants are required to hold at the time of enrolment the established Leaving Certificate (or an approved equivalent) with a minimum of six subjects which must include: Two H5 (Higher Level) grades and Four O6 (Ordinary Level) grades or four H7 (Higher Level) grades. Subjects must include Mathematics, Irish or another language, and English.
