Pursuing legal studies offers a rewarding academic journey that fosters intellectual growth while developing critical thinking and advocacy abilities. The Law Plus program enables students to select optional courses across various fields such as Political Science, Historical Studies, Psychological Sciences, Economic Theory, Mathematics, Social Sciences, and foreign languages. This diverse curriculum ensures graduates have numerous career pathways available.
The Law Plus curriculum strongly focuses on cultivating hands-on legal competencies, including effective verbal and written communication, analytical thinking, dispute resolution techniques, legal investigation methods, as well as collaboration and organizational abilities, primarily through specialized lawyering skills courses. Our simulated courtroom and appellate court resources are extensively used during the program to refine these capabilities, preparing graduates for professional legal practice. These versatile skills also prove invaluable for those pursuing non-legal careers.
Participants can additionally engage in Advanced Lawyering Initiatives. These initiatives offer distinctive chances to collaborate with community organizations and practically implement legal expertise. Project themes evolve annually, with previous examples including wrongful conviction cases, penalty assessment systems, community legal education programs, and digital legal tool creation.
