Alongside practical training, you'll deepen your academic knowledge of dance.
The curriculum exposes you to diverse dance techniques and performance methodologies, broadening your perspective on performing arts and unlocking creative possibilities. Career-oriented modules help transform your artistic and intellectual growth into professional opportunities. We seek students who approach their pre-professional development with curiosity, critical thinking, and self-reflection. Applicants should demonstrate proficiency in one or more dance styles.
With more than 25 weekly hours of physical training, this intensive program sharpens both your performance abilities and scholarly understanding of creative practice. Crucially, you'll explore multiple performance traditions and academic approaches, gaining fresh perspectives on music and dance to fuel your artistic growth. The Academy's unique environment connects you with four other artistic disciplines: Traditional Irish music, Traditional Irish dance, Voice, and World Music. Our faculty includes both local and international instructors, along with professional dance and theater artists who provide practical training and real-world performance experience.
