The PgCert in Hospitality and Leadership caters to individuals with prior qualifications or experience in hospitality and/or business, aiming to enhance their expertise in advanced hospitality systems, emerging trends, and practical business applications. This specialized program helps students combine their current skills with advanced hospitality knowledge while cultivating strategic abilities in asset management, cross-cultural communication, and project leadership. Course components cover: Hotel Asset Management, Project Management, Hospitality Strategy and Innovation, and Business Intercultural Communication.
This full-time program spans one academic semester (January to 12 weeks) and incorporates diverse learning methods including classroom instruction, industry immersion, hands-on experiences, corporate studies, digital simulations, expert lectures, and subject-specific projects.
Career Prospects
The competencies gained through this program make graduates particularly sought-after by both domestic and international hospitality and business enterprises.
Candidates for the Postgraduate Certificate in Hospitality and Leadership will normally hold, or expect to hold before the programme commences, an undergraduate degree, usually a Second Class Honours or equivalent in a related area. Relevant work experience may also be considered in lieu of an academic qualification. IELTS score of 6.5 or equivalent if applicable. Applicants will be invited to an online interview.
Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL)
