The Master of Engineering in Electronic & Computer Engineering is an intensive nine-month postgraduate program intended for students who have completed an Honours (Level 8) degree in Electronic & Computer Engineering or a related field. This program enables graduates to enhance their expertise with cutting-edge, industry-focused knowledge across various Electronic & Computer Engineering disciplines, earning them a Level 9 qualification that meets Engineers Ireland's requirements for Chartered Engineer recognition.

Entry to the programme is open to individuals who have Second Class Honours in a Level 8 (or equivalent) degree in a related discipline from a recognised university or third-level college. Factors taken into account in determining admission will include the specific content of the undergraduate degree, the applicant’s performance and the availability of places.
English Language Requirements
IELTS: 6.5 overall, no less than 5.5 in any one component; Cambridge C1 Advanced (CAE): 176 overall; Cambridge C2 Advanced (CPE): 180 overall; TOEFL: 88 overall (7 Listening, 16 Speaking, 18 Writing, 8 Reading); Pearson PTE: 61 overall, no less than 48 in any one component.
