The program curriculum aligns closely with Chartered Accountants Ireland's (CAI) CAP2 syllabus. As a result, graduates can obtain substantial exemptions from CAI exams. Those completing the MAcc receive full CAP2 exam exemptions, provided they already had full CAP1 exemptions prior to enrollment.

Qualification Requirements

A H2.1 degree (NFQ Level 8 or equivalent) in Business or Commerce, with a significant specialisation in Accounting. IELTS score of 6.5 or equivalent, if applicable. Students are required to have full (or nearly full) exemptions from the CAI’s CAP1 examinations before embarking on the MAcc programme.

English Language Requirements

IELTS: 6.5 overall, no less than 5.5 in any one component; Cambridge C1 Advanced (CAE): 176 overall; Cambridge C2 Advanced (CPE): 180 overall; TOEFL: 88 overall (7 Listening, 16 Speaking, 18 Writing, 8 Reading); Pearson PTE: 61 overall, no less than 48 in any one component.
