The Master of Arts in Public Policy equips graduates for careers across government agencies, public institutions, civil society groups, NGOs, international bodies, corporations, and other sectors demanding specialized policy expertise. Alongside foundational policy and research training, the program features a Brussels study trip to explore EU policymaking, plus focused modules covering: Digital Era Policymaking, Development Advocacy, Gender Studies, Peace and Conflict Resolution, Disability Studies, Aging Policies, Child and Family Services, Marine Governance, Urban Planning, Social Welfare Systems, and Negotiation Strategies, with an elective option in policy data analytics. In today's climate where policy creation faces heightened political examination, the curriculum highlights the political dimensions of policymaking, digital governance advancements, and evolving public engagement methods.
Provide students with comprehensive understanding of policy formation frameworks and critical aspects like stakeholder involvement, policy execution, and impact assessment.

This degree proves especially valuable for students targeting careers within European and international institutions (such as the EU, Council of Europe, or UN), national/local administrations, public sector entities, advocacy groups, nonprofit organizations, corporate sectors (including tech giants like Google, Meta, LinkedIn), policy advisory services, public relations, media, and other fields requiring sophisticated policy comprehension.
A primary degree or its equivalent, with Second Class Honours Grade 2 overall. Applicants should also have achieved an upper Second Class Honours degree (2.1) or equivalent, GPAs of at least 3.0 of 4.0 or equivalent for international students, in a relevant subject such as Sociology, Politics, Public or Social Policy, Geography, History, a language, Economics, Business, Law. An interview may, in addition, form part of the application process.
English Language Requirements
IELTS: 6.5 overall, no less than 5.5 in any one component; Cambridge C1 Advanced (CAE): 176 overall; Cambridge C2 Advanced (CPE): 180 overall; TOEFL: 88 overall (7 Listening, 16 Speaking, 18 Writing, 8 Reading); Pearson PTE: 61 overall, no less than 48 in any one component.
