The Bachelor of Commerce (Global Experience) is a four-year business program where students explore various business disciplines during the initial two years. The third year offers opportunities for internships, international study, or a blend of both. In the final year, students focus on one specialization area such as Accounting & Performance Measurement, Economics & Public Policy, Human Resource Management, Marketing, Digital Business & Analytics, Finance, Business Law, or International Business. This program equips students with essential knowledge, practical skills, professional connections, and real-world experience to thrive in business environments, workplaces, and communities.

Graduates enjoy excellent employment prospects across diverse business sectors including Accounting, Management Consulting, Taxation, Public Sector, Commercial Advisory, Economic Policy, Marketing, HR, IT Management, Finance, Personnel Management, and Education/Research. The program's work placement and international study components significantly enhance career opportunities both domestically and internationally.
Additionally, graduates may pursue specialized postgraduate studies within the J.E. Cairnes School of Business and Economics.
Minimum Grade H5 in two subjects and passes in four other subjects at O6/H7 level in the Leaving Certificate, including Irish, English, another language, Mathematics, and any two other subjects recognised for entry purposes.
English Language Requirements
IELTS: 6.5 overall, no less than 5.5 in any one component; Cambridge C1 Advanced (CAE): 176 overall; Cambridge C2 Advanced (CPE): 180 overall; TOEFL: 88 overall (7 Listening, 16 Speaking, 18 Writing, 8 Reading); Pearson PTE: 61 overall, no less than 48 in any one component.
