The BComm (Gaeilge) program was created in response to student interest in blending Business studies with Irish Language learning. This four-year Commerce degree incorporates Irish Language instruction, enabling students to enhance their linguistic abilities while acquiring essential business and cultural knowledge.
Perfect for aspiring business professionals or those seeking broader career options, this program offers a unique third-year structure: one semester spent interning in an Irish-speaking workplace and another studying at University of Galway's Gaeltacht campus in An Cheathr√∫ Rua.

Minimum Grade H5 in two subjects and passes in four other subjects at O6/H7 level in the Leaving Certificate, including Irish, English, another language, Mathematics, and any two other subjects recognised for entry purposes.
Additional Requirements
For Leaving Certificate - A H4 in Gaeilge is also a requirement.

IELTS: 6.5 overall, no less than 5.5 in any one component; Cambridge C1 Advanced (CAE): 176 overall; Cambridge C2 Advanced (CPE): 180 overall; TOEFL: 88 overall (7 Listening, 16 Speaking, 18 Writing, 8 Reading); Pearson PTE: 61 overall, no less than 48 in any one component.
