As societal attention increasingly centers on health, including workplace well-being, the Centre for Safety and Health at Work (CSHW) addresses industry demands through hybrid digital platforms and adaptable educational initiatives that tackle current critical topics.
This full-time MSc in Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) specifically targets experienced graduates in the field who haven't yet obtained an advanced qualification. Upon completion, you'll gain expertise in creating and executing health and safety management systems tailored to your professional domain, along with enhanced academic writing capabilities, self-direction abilities, and research competencies.
The full-time MSc in OSH spans one academic year (September to July). Classes occur weekdays, with 90 credits distributed across three semesters.
Provisional orientation dates for the 2024/25 cohort are set for September 6, 2024.
The curriculum explores diverse interdisciplinary subjects pertinent to OSH, including Workplace Legislation, Occupational Medicine, Industrial Hygiene, Organizational Psychology, Safety Management Systems, and Technical Safety.
Evaluation methods incorporate ongoing assessments, coursework, research projects, and a final thesis.
Dissertation guidance occurs outside regular program hours.
