The MSc in Human Computer Interaction equips students with essential competencies for careers in user experience and HCI. As Ireland's only program of its kind, it leverages the exceptional knowledge within the School of Information & Communication Studies to examine human-computer interaction through a social science lens.
This course emphasizes teaching students how to apply social science methodologies and theories to:
1) Create technology interfaces centered around users, and to
2) Analyze how technological designs influence human actions, attitudes, and feelings - examining both personal and collective impacts.
