The ME Energy Systems program equips engineers with skills to design and innovate tomorrow's energy solutions while fostering insights into how these systems interact with environmental policies and economic considerations. It covers global energy network assessments, utilization of limited natural resources, and climate implications. Emphasis is placed on renewable sources like wind, tidal, nuclear, and solar energy, along with their conversion, storage, and distribution through electrical and alternative methods. An honours undergraduate degree NFQ level 8 with a minimum upper second class honours or international equivalence in a relevant Engineering programme
Applicants whose first language is not English must also demonstrate English language proficiency of IELTS 6.5 no band less than 6.0 in each element or equivalent

TOEFL IBT - iBT 90 no less than 21 in writing and at least 19 in every other section in the Test of English as a Foreign Language TOEFL.
