The Graduate Diploma in Nua-Ghaeilge is designed for graduates of Modern Irish and related fields. This program focuses on advancing and safeguarding Irish language, literature, and culture while highlighting their significance for Irish society and European heritage. Participants will enhance their Irish language proficiency while gaining deeper insights into Irish literature, cultural studies, and historical contexts.

This qualification opens doors to diverse career opportunities, including educational roles both domestically and internationally, as well as positions in public sector organizations. Throughout the program, students cultivate both communication abilities and critical thinking skills.

We foster independent and group learning by creating an engaging academic atmosphere for Irish language instruction and practice. Our resources include a multimedia language lab and a dedicated Student Space (An Seomra Caidrimh) to promote Irish language use among learners. Instruction and all communications are conducted entirely in Irish within small class settings. The curriculum employs various teaching methods and evaluations, including oral/written exams, research projects, academic papers, and presentations.
