This program aims to enhance the capabilities of special education instructors working across elementary, secondary, and specialized school environments, covering all theoretical and practical aspects of teaching students with additional learning requirements.

The program's philosophy focuses on promoting inclusive education while equipping participants with the expertise to assist both highly challenged and challenging students within the most suitable educational settings.

Participants will gain knowledge and abilities in recognizing and evaluating students with special educational needs, as well as designing, tracking, and assessing the effectiveness of tailored interventions.

This intensive full-time program spans one academic year, featuring two four-week residential periods at the institution complemented by four Saturday sessions distributed throughout the year. Most enrolled students receive financial support from the Department of Education, including full substitute teacher coverage during their campus attendance.

Qualification Requirements

Applicants to the Graduate Diploma in Inclusive and Special Education must be working in a Special Education Teacher role and have Teaching Council recognition
IELTS - An average score of 6.5 over all components and a minimum of 6.0 in each band.
TOEFL IBT - iBT 90 no less than 21 in writing and at least 19 in every other section in the Test of English as a Foreign Language TOEFL.
