UCD School of Art History and Cultural Policy offers postgraduate research programs for both full-time and part-time students, including MLitt and PhD degrees in Art History as well as Cultural Policy and Arts Management. Typically, an MLitt takes 2 years to finish, whereas PhD candidates usually spend 3-4 years on their research (or longer for part-time students).

Qualification Requirements

To be eligible to enter a research masters degree or PhD programme an applicant must have obtained a minimum of an upper second-class degree or equivalent in a relevant bachelor degree. IELTS - An average score of 6.5 over all components and a minimum of 6.0 in each band. TOEFL IBT - iBT 90 no less than 21 in writing and at least 19 in every other section in the Test of English as a Foreign Language TOEFL.
