Neuroscience explores the nervous system, focusing on how its cells communicate to shape the brain and control bodily processes, behavior, memory, emotions, and awareness. Disorders like Alzheimer's and Parkinson's stem from nervous system impairments, representing serious, untreatable conditions. Neuroscience investigations examine these breakdowns to aid in developing therapeutic interventions for such diseases.
