This fast-track Radiography program is designed to welcome students from diverse academic backgrounds. The curriculum aligns with CORU's national standards for radiography education (the Health and Social Care Professions Regulator) and follows guidelines from the Irish Institute of Radiography and Radiation Therapy (IIRT). This ensures comprehensive mastery of fundamental sciences while developing expertise across all radiographic and imaging methods.

Our team of more than 25 specialized instructors delivers the program, with clinical training further enhanced by cutting-edge virtual reality technology and modern X-ray facilities on UCD's campus.

Qualification Requirements

The 2. 5year graduate entry programme is open to applicants who hold a 4year Bachelor degree NFQ Level 8 with a minimum of Second Class Honours and above or equivalent
A copy of your transcript and evidence of your degree award You may also be requested to supply a full syllabus to facilitate a decision
Evidence of having completed appropriate research activity within their primary degree Such activity should equate to a minimum of 5 ECTS and might include
a research methods module
a research dissertation thesis

Your reasons for wishing to undertake a Radiography degree
How this degree will contribute to your plans for the future
Anything else relevant to your application

References three letters of recommendation academic work experience and one other
Any other documents as specified in of the CAO Handbook

International A Level - At least three subjects at A Level Grade C or better and Grade C or better in the remaining subjects at GCSE a total of six distinct subjects required.
If you are -
presenting the Irish school leaving certificate you are required to have attained a H7 or O6 in English.
presenting other examinations through English you are required to have the opens in a new window specified equivalent.
IELTS - An average score of 6.5 over all components and a minimum of 6.0 in each band.
TOEFL IBT - iBT 90 no less than 21 in writing and at least 19 in every other section in the Test of English as a Foreign Language TOEFL.
