All applicants for French Law studies begin with the BCL (Law with French Law) in their first year. Participants will study both the common law system (used in Ireland, the UK, and much of the English-speaking world) and Europe's predominant civil law tradition.

The BCL (Law with French Law) program delivers comprehensive training in Irish law while developing extensive knowledge of French legal principles and advanced proficiency in French language and legal terminology. With small class sizes for French Law, students benefit from interactive learning that improves their conversational French.
