Our full-time MSc in Clinical Measurement Physiology is an innovative program crafted to equip you with the essential knowledge, practical abilities, and professional competencies required for a career as a Clinical Measurement Physiologist.
This Clinical Measurement Physiology course is ideal for science graduates specializing in physiology, as well as healthcare practitioners seeking to enhance their diagnostic expertise across four key areas: cardiology, neurology, gastrointestinal, and respiratory sciences. A distinctive feature of this program is its emphasis on neonatal physiology.
Our goal is to deliver outstanding academic and clinical training while helping you cultivate the skills needed to contribute to the dynamic field of clinical measurement science.
Clinical placements form a crucial part of the curriculum, with hands-on experience opportunities available during both the first and second years of study.
Applicants must have at least a Second Class Honours Grade 2 in a primary honours degree (NFQ, Level 8) (or equivalent) in any of the following relevant subject areas: physiology, medical and health sciences, neuroscience or other relevant biological sciences. Other graduates with an honours primary degree in a relevant health care discipline e.g. nursing, may also be interested in this programme, although proficiency in understanding systems physiology will be an important entry criterion.
