The PhD in Engineering Science is a full-time program lasting at least 36 months from enrollment.
This structured PhD program follows a thematic approach, requiring students to complete at least 30 ECTS of coursework by Year 3. The program offers two study pathways:

PhD Pathway 1: 36 or 48 months duration, with 30 credits of coursework
PhD Pathway 2: 48 months duration, with 55 credits of coursework
Both pathways incorporate structured coursework components aimed at equipping candidates with -
specialized technical knowledge aligned with their research focus,
essential communication skills for careers in both industry and academia,
insights into how cutting-edge research connects with innovation, commercialization, and entrepreneurship (ICE).
