The four-year (48-month) full-time PhD in Business Information Systems program begins upon initial enrollment.
This structured program includes multiple components to support doctoral research and thesis completion. The initial phase (Part I) introduces students to fundamental Information Systems research topics, methodologies, and PhD-level concepts. In Part II, specialized modules help students refine their research focus from Part I, leading to a formal thesis proposal presentation and defense. The final phase (Part III) concentrates on executing the research project and composing the doctoral thesis. Awarding the PhD (Business Information Systems) degree primarily depends on submitting, successfully defending, and having an approved thesis.
