The Medical Technology program combines science and engineering disciplines, focusing on diagnostic tools, therapeutic equipment, and life-saving innovations that advance medical frontiers.
Graduates can join Clinical Engineering teams in hospitals (public or private), overseeing vital medical equipment maintenance as healthcare professionals. Career opportunities also exist in technical or quality assurance positions within the Medical Device or Medical Software sectors. Graduates may alternatively pursue advanced studies in Radiography, Biomedical Engineering, Medical Physics, Physiotherapy, or related fields.
The curriculum begins with core subjects in years one and two, progressing to specialized courses including Biomechanics and Biomaterials, Clinical Technology, Diagnostic Imaging and Radiotherapy, Rehabilitation Technology and Product Design, plus Healthcare Cybersecurity.
