This one-year program culminates in an honors degree (level 8) delivered across two semesters. It offers graduates holding an ordinary degree (level 7) in baking and pastry arts management (or equivalent national/international certification) the chance to obtain a specialized honors qualification.
The curriculum provides thorough educational and training approaches, enabling learners to become professional baking and pastry arts managers at honors degree level. We particularly encourage applications from experienced bakery professionals, as Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) plays a significant role in this program.
Participants will acquire in-depth, advanced knowledge to refine their expertise as entrepreneurs, craftspeople, managers, or forward-thinking bakery innovators. The program equips students with sophisticated bakery techniques combined with culinary business development understanding. Course components include specialized training in food regulatory matters (covering packaging, labeling, and safety laws) along with advanced bakery industry and market knowledge. These competencies enable graduates to effectively connect with consumers and capitalize on changing bakery market trends for business success.
