This four-year program is tailored for guitarists, bassists, drummers, vocalists, composers, music producers, and entrepreneurs managing music ventures who seek a Level 8 certification in contemporary music while maximizing their artistic and professional growth.
The curriculum focuses on refining live performance abilities and studio recording expertise while supporting career aspirations, whether as a performing artist, songwriter, producer, music executive, educator, or academic researcher.
Students can specialize in one of six tracks: Drums, Bass, Guitar, Vocals, Songwriting, or Music Production (with the Music Production option being newly introduced for the 2023/24 academic year pending approval)

QQI / PLC Level 5 Minimum Entry Requirements: Any award five distinctions and audition for minimum entry.
Applicants must attend an assessment/audition to establish their playing standard and eligibility for the course. Auditions will not commence until after the CAO deadline. After the CAO closing date, we will contact all those who have applied for assessment/audition.
