The Economics and Finance Certificate is a postgraduate-level qualification (Level 9, equivalent to master's degree standards). This flexible one-year program offers six specialized modules. While functioning as an independent credential, it utilizes coursework from the Master of Business (Economics and Finance specialization). Designed for both working professionals in financial services seeking career advancement and graduates aiming to enter finance or economics fields, the program develops expertise in econometrics, financial derivatives, regulatory frameworks, and advanced financial interpretation. Participants will engage with real-world data alongside theoretical concepts, examining current challenges through practitioner-led sessions on topics like Brexit, financial technology, and anti-money laundering. The curriculum includes dedicated career development workshops alongside its six core modules.
