A Business Marketing Degree delves into how companies recognize and fulfill customer demands in a dynamic, competitive environment. Marketing is a global practice employed by diverse organizations, from multinational corporations and local businesses to political campaigns, nonprofits, sports teams, and small enterprises. The field encompasses various specialties like advertising, sales, branding, consumer psychology, market analysis, and product innovation. Featuring numerous elective choices, third-year internship or international study opportunities, and project-based evaluations, this versatile program appeals to those passionate about commerce and promotion. The first two years cover foundational business courses with introductory marketing concepts, while year three offers specialization in areas such as retail sales, advertising campaigns, service industries, event coordination, sustainable practices, consumer research, and behavioral psychology. The third year also incorporates a professional marketing internship or overseas study term. After completing year three, students may pursue an additional year to earn an honors qualification (Level 8) - the Bachelor of Business (Honours) in Marketing.
Year 1 entry:
Candidates for year 1 entry to our Bachelor Degree programmes must hold a high school completion certificate that comes in at level 5 on the Irish National Framework of Qualifications. All candidates must have completed 12 years of full-time education prior to applying for entry to SETU Carlow. All subjects on the High School Completion Certificate must be successfully passed, with good grades.
Advanced Entry:
SETU Carlow welcomes applications from students who have completed some studies at higher level at other institutions and who wish to transfer onto a Bachelor degree programme at SETU Carlow.

IELTS: 5.5 IELTS(minimum of 5 IELTS in each component)
TOEFL Internet Based test (iBT): 70 (min score of 15 in each component)
