The BA (Hons) Social Science is a three-year interdisciplinary program. During periods of swift societal and economic transformation, this curriculum provides learners with the chance to examine and thoughtfully assess modern Irish culture and its role in our interconnected global community. The program incorporates fundamental Social Science fields including Social Policy, Sociology, Psychology, Economics, and Political Science, while prioritizing Social Research and applied Social Studies. A key focus of this program involves exploring how social issues affect disadvantaged groups and examining potential solutions.
You should be at least 17 years of age in January of the year of entry.
You must have a Secondary/High School Diploma, with good grades in English and Mathematics and at least 4 other subjects, on average + 60%.
