This program is designed to address the specialized ICT requirements outlined in Ireland's National Skills Strategy 2025. It integrates technical training with innovative approaches, providing essential competencies in cloud-based software development, fog/edge computing, DevOps practices, cybersecurity, and data management.
Through our advanced Cloud Competency Center, participants will work with cutting-edge ethical design frameworks and technologies. Instruction is provided by academic experts and seasoned cloud computing professionals from industry.
Ideal candidates include computer science graduates, ICT professionals, system administrators, and individuals seeking hands-on cloud computing expertise.
Duration - 1 year
An honours (level 8) primary degree in a computing discipline with a 2.2 award or higher. Students in their final year of undergraduate study can be admitted on the condition that their degrees are awarded before they enrol at NCI.
Non-English speaking applicants must demonstrate fluency in English evidenced by an IELTS academic score of at least 6.0 or equivalent.
TOEFL Internet Based: 78; TOEFL Computer: 213; PTE Academic: 50; Cambridge European Framework: B2+; Cambridge Exams: FCE; Irish Leaving Certificate: Ordinary Grade D.
