The field of Data Science and Analytics has experienced tremendous expansion in recent years, with industries across sectors increasingly seeking skilled professionals. MTU's MSc in Data Science and Analytics represents a joint initiative between the Mathematics and Computer Science Departments, designed to cultivate exceptionally capable professionals in this fast-growing discipline. This partnership-based program delivers comprehensive theoretical foundations in Data Science while ensuring graduates master the technical and applied competencies that industry demands. Students will acquire expertise in data collection, storage, and processing through cutting-edge methods including machine learning, deep learning, and statistical modeling to extract valuable insights from complex datasets.

Qualification Requirements
2.1 in a Level 8 Honours degree.
Alternatively, graduates with a 2.2 Honours degree will be considered, subject to having three years relevant experience.
The language of academic instruction as well as administration is English. Non-native speakers of English require a minimum IELTS score of 6.0 to be considered for entry into this postgraduate programme.
