The biological sciences honours entry program spans two years and caters to students pursuing a career in biological sciences who haven't yet chosen a specific discipline.
This program enables students to explore all three disciplines through coursework, faculty engagement, and industry visits, helping them select their preferred specialization.
After completing the second year successfully, students can advance to year three of these biological science honours degrees:
MT 873 BSc (Honours) in Pharmaceutical Biotechnology
MT 876 BSc (Honours) in Nutrition and Health Science
MT 879 BSc (Honours) in Agri-Biosciences
Pharmaceutical Biotechnology graduates will possess skills to cultivate and modify biological cells for developing safe, effective medications using cutting-edge technologies.
Nutrition and Health Science graduates can utilize their expertise in human nutrition to tackle health and dietary challenges across food and healthcare sectors.
Agri-Biosciences graduates will apply biotechnology principles to enhance agri-food systems through advancements in animal health, reproduction, and diagnostic technologies.
