The course content combines theoretical knowledge with practical application. This integrated teaching method equips students with the skills and confidence needed to excel as healthcare practitioners. During the initial two years, students explore diverse subjects that form the basis for various career paths in health, fitness, and sports sectors.
After completing their second year, learners can choose between Health, Sport and Exercise Sciences, Inclusive Sport and Physical Activity, or Physical Education Studies with Business tracks to focus their specialization in the third year. The program also includes a 12-week professional placement during the third year, offering opportunities with local, national, or international organizations.
Upon completion, graduates earn a Bachelor of Science degree along with specialized professional certifications. The program prepares students to qualify as professional fitness instructors in multiple areas including group exercise, gym instruction, and personal training. Additionally, they'll obtain globally recognized aquatic certifications covering swimming instruction, aqua fitness, lifeguarding, and adaptive aquatics.
