The growing likelihood of cross-border aspects in legal matters—spanning commerce, criminal activity, immigration, digital technology, and data protection—demands that law graduates develop expertise beyond any single country's legal system. The PG Diploma in Global Legal Studies equips students with precisely these competencies. Enrolling in this program exposes participants to diverse legal challenges that cross jurisdictional boundaries while offering valuable perspectives from related fields like political science, behavioral studies, finance, and social sciences.

Instruction occurs through intimate lecture groups, practical simulations, interactive workshops, and specialized masterclasses. Beyond core coursework, The School collaborates with top scholars and legal professionals who deliver targeted seminars across multiple legal disciplines throughout the year.

Our strategic alliances include premier international firms like Matheson and A&L Goodbody for various projects. Students may also pursue our Postgraduate Placement module, enabling select candidates to gain semester-long part-time experience with partner institutions. These partnerships extend across governmental and corporate entities, including the Irish Council for Civil Liberties, the Irish Penal Reform Trust, Forsa, PrivacyEngine, and Alcohol Action Ireland.
