This program targets aspiring communication specialists seeking careers in public relations and related fields. Developed and taught by experienced PR practitioners, journalists, and academic faculty, it prepares students for client-focused PR roles across corporate, political, and public sector environments. The NUJ-accredited Postgraduate Diploma in Journalism and Public Relations offers flexible full-time or part-time study options spanning 1-2 years. Participants will develop comprehensive skills to ideate, develop, and refine multimedia PR content across digital platforms, social media, broadcast, print, and mobile formats. The curriculum directly addresses modern industry demands for PR experts capable of producing and managing integrated, multi-platform communications strategies.
Entry for candidates with a BA or BSc 2.2 award is by interview. Candidates with relevant working experience without a 2.2 award are encouraged to apply for interview-based access through the college’s APEL admissions process.
