Ireland's inaugural BSc in Psychology and Mathematics uniquely blends these disciplines, equipping students with expertise in human behavior interpretation alongside advanced numerical, analytical, and problem-solving capabilities. This program provides comprehensive knowledge of both fields while fostering a critical understanding of modern society. You'll explore various psychology domains while mastering calculus, probability, computing, statistics, and data analysis, with strong emphasis on research literacy. The curriculum also includes applied subjects like coding and cryptography that bridge psychology and mathematics.
Students acquire versatile, in-demand skills such as behavioral insight, critical analysis, research methodology, effective communication, and the capacity to present findings to diverse audiences. The third-year INTRA placement offers hands-on experience in fields like neuroscience, finance, healthcare, organizational psychology, or applied behavior analysis. Graduates can pursue postgraduate education (including teaching qualifications) or careers as market/financial analysts, HR professionals, business consultants, and more. Developed following Psychological Society of Ireland accreditation guidelines, this program currently awaits final PSI accreditation confirmation.
