This program focuses on creating smart machines by combining mechanical systems like engines with electronic control systems. It provides an ideal fusion of mechanical and electronic engineering disciplines. The curriculum includes subjects such as 3D modeling and design, alongside circuit development and coding. Both students and faculty are fascinated by how electronics interact with mechanical components in modern devices and cutting-edge equipment.
During your third year, you'll complete a six-month INTRA internship, and throughout the program, you'll engage in numerous hands-on projects using industry-standard tools to tackle challenges and, naturally, construct robotic systems. But there's more. You'll also study business-oriented subjects, gaining skills in business strategy development and cross-departmental collaboration. Although graduates can pursue careers in either mechanical or electrical engineering, most find themselves in hybrid roles. They might integrate sensors into machinery to monitor performance or design control mechanisms for elevators or vehicles. Regardless of specialization, mechatronics professionals are highly sought after in today's job market.
