During the initial three years, you'll explore core principles of electronic engineering and programming. Given the program's wide scope, you'll select from four specialization tracks in your fourth year: Systems and Devices (focusing on sensors, diagnostics, and related technologies), High-Speed Networks (including fiber optics and 5G systems), Digital Interaction (covering 3D interfaces and game development), and the Internet of Things. Your third year offers the opportunity for a paid six-month INTRA internship, allowing you to gain practical experience with companies either in Ireland or internationally. Upon graduation, you'll possess the skills to develop innovative solutions using advanced technologies like augmented and virtual reality. This globally recognized qualification prepares you for high-demand careers in design engineering, production engineering, software development, and other technology-driven fields experiencing significant growth worldwide.
