This Professional Certificate in Information Technology for Internationally Educated Professionals is designed for individuals holding an IT degree and international work experience who seek to enhance their expertise, capabilities, and professional connections for the Canadian job market.
Through York University's IEP Bridging Program, participants will undertake three university-level IEP Foundation courses (9 credits) to refine essential soft skills, along with a specialized IT Foundation course in Object-Oriented Programming that builds core Java programming competencies. The program enables students to select advanced university courses (15 credits) in system analysis, enterprise systems, or big data and analytics, offering five specialized courses to develop current, regionally relevant professional skills in these IT focus areas.
