Earth and Space Science represents an interdisciplinary academic initiative connected to the Centre for Research in Earth and Space Science (CRESS). This graduate program offers advanced education and research opportunities for students pursuing MSc or PhD qualifications. Participants become part of a diverse cohort with backgrounds spanning engineering, physics, chemistry, mathematics, and computer science. The program fosters cross-disciplinary collaboration through its close ties to the Physics & Astronomy, Engineering, and select Chemistry departments.

State-of-the-art research facilities support investigations in space technology, planetary studies, environmental monitoring, precision navigation, geospatial systems, atmospheric science, and climate modeling.

To be eligible for admission to a master's program, applicants must hold, at a minimum, an Honours undergraduate degree or equivalent (typically a four-year full-time program) from a recognized post-secondary institution with at least a B (second class) standing in the final two years of full-time equivalent study.
Completion of a 4-year bachelor's degree in chemistry, physics, pure or applied mathematics, astronomy, engineering or engineering physics from a recognized
university.
