Sustainability concerns have become central to both worldwide communities and business operations. From corporate initiatives focusing on reducing carbon emissions, addressing colonial legacies, or promoting inclusion, leaders are more frequently responsible for planning, coordinating, and assessing sustainability efforts in their organizations. First established in 1991 as the Erivan K. Haub Program in Business & the Environment, Schulich's Sustainability Specialization equips students with the expertise, tools, and practical exposure needed to oversee sustainability projects in various business functions. By blending classroom debates, simulation activities, hands-on learning (locally and abroad), and networking with sustainability experts, students gain the ability to collaborate with crucial stakeholders. Additionally, they develop skills to manage the growing complexities of sustainability reporting requirements that organizations face internationally.
