Our small class sizes (limited to 25 English and French-speaking students) create the perfect environment for developing translation expertise. As the only program of its kind in Southern Ontario, we're helping fill Canada's critical need for skilled English, French, and Spanish translators. Alumni have secured positions with prestigious organizations including the United Nations, Canadian government agencies, legal practices, publishing companies, while others have pursued successful careers in editing, writing, and education.
Students can acquire practical experience and academic credits through internships with various government levels, private companies, or other institutions. Translation students benefit from building valuable professional connections and receive complimentary membership to the Ontario Association of Translators and Interpreters, which provides access to career resources, employment listings, professional development workshops, and networking events.
